Open Registration begins on March 1st for new families. There are waiting lists for some grade levels so early registration is advisable. Registration is conducted on a first come/first served basis, with
preference given to St. Louis the King parishioners, children who have brothers and/or
sisters currently enrolled in the school, and registered parishioners in other diocesan parishes.
Students
enrolling in our pre-kindergarten program must be 4 years old by
September 1 and fully potty-trained. Incoming kindergarten students must be 5 years old by September 1. A developmental screening assessment is administered to all incoming pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students.
New family interviews and academic assessments are conducted for new students entering first through eighth grade to ensure proper placement.
An Open House is held every year on the last Sunday of
January from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Classrooms are open for tours and parents have the opportunity to meet the teachers. Anyone who is interested
in learning more about St. Louis the King Catholic School is invited to attend. Tuition Assistance Workshops are also available during the Open House for parents who want to learn about how to afford a Catholic education.
Tuition
St.
Louis the King Catholic School strives to balance the cost
of education with its commitment to making Catholic education
available to all children. Tuition is based on an annual review
of the per-pupil cost to educate and is set by the Pastor and
Principal, with input from the School Advisory Board. Please contact the school office for the current year's tuition rate.
- Active,
participating members of St. Louis the King Parish may qualify for an $600 per student discount. Registered, active participating members of other diocesan parishes may be eligible for a $300 discount per student.
- Those who pay their
annual tuition in one payment prior to the start of the school
year will receive a $100 per student discount.
Unless
tuition is paid in full prior to the start of the school year, all
families are required to sign up for a 10 or 11 month automatic
payment plan through FACTS by August 1st.
