Religious Education
The Religious Education program at St. Louis the King Parish provides catechetical formation for children of pre-school through junior high age.

Classes are held each Sunday morning from September through April.  The textbooks are Scripturally based and catechetically sound, incorporating the truths of the Catholic faith and tradition.  All volunteers must attend Safe Environment training each year and must have or be working toward their catechist certification.  Ongoing education is encouraged after certification.

Sacramental preparation begins in a student's second year of   instruction.  First Reconciliation is initially offered in  the Second grade, while First Communion and Confirmation are  offered in the Third grade and beyond.  All students, however, are encouraged to continue their Christian education after completion of the sacraments.
